August 23 - Zine Workshop with Alison and Quentin

Together we will experiment with many types of art - poetry, collage, drawing, painting... to make zines (small self-published magazines) about the things that are important to us... social and environmental justice, love, peace, other UFP values or simple summer pleasures that bring us joy.

This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to this creative form of activist communication. Some art materials will be provided, but please your favourite coloured pencils, markers, images to use in collage, and don't forget your creativity, curiosity and willingness to learn from one another.

No experience or "artistic skill" necessary. Ages 12+
